my name is Melissa, and I am a passionate martial arts photographer with over a decade of experience capturing the dynamic world of martial arts.
For the past six years, I have been working professionally, and for the last two years, I have had the honour of serving as the lead photographer for Taekwondo BC. I have collaborated with some of the top martial arts schools around the Lower Mainland and Vancouver area, bringing their stories to life through my lens.
In addition to my photography career, I am a dedicated martial artist and hold a 3rd degree black belt in World Taekwondo. My deep, inside knowledge of martial arts allows me to authentically capture the essence of each moment, showcasing the discipline, strength, and passion that define this practice.
Outside of photography and martial arts, I am one year away from becoming a BC archaeologist. My passion for art, culture, and the past deeply influences my work, providing a unique perspective and depth to my photography.
